LICITAR - O nama...

LICITAR, a design studio for making decorations and souvenirs, is a recently founded firm with the aim of preserving and presenting handicrafts of the Croatian cultural heritage. Deeply convinced that Croatian handicrafts with their originality may be given as a present or a souvenir to everyone, the firm Licitar has tried to create a product with minimal changes and adequate packaging, which would satisfy the conditons of the modern market and customers wishes. Special attention is paid to the affirmation of traditional materials and the method of production. Envirnomentally adjusted packaging made of recycled materials which entirley complies with todays lifestyle.

As in the family business of Croatian mead and gingerbread handicraftsmen, our firm performs its business within a circle of family, friends and acquaintances who are all equally fond of the values of Croatian cultural heritage.

Nina Jecić, born in Zagreb in 1966, graduated from the Grammar School, the University of Zagreb at the Faculty of Arts with the degree in archeological studies.

Zdenko Jecić, born in Zagreb in 1967, graduated from the Grammar School, the University of Zagreb at the Faculty of Arhitecture with a degree in architecture, Masters in Civil Engineering, currently working in the Lexicographic institute "Miroslav Krleža".
